Jenna Foods are produced at Halal Processing Solutions in Muncie, Indiana. Our 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art food processing plant only processes Halal meat. Furthermore, Jenna Foods and HPS is American owned by practicing Muslims. The ownership team takes pride in what it has built and believes that all Halal foods should be handled and cared for with the highest level and standards that Halal consumers deserve.

 

Fact is, the majority of all Halal food products in the U.S. are processed in pork processing facilities and plants. Although every brand offering Halal products will argue that the machinery is cleaned prior to processing Halal meats, or that Halal meat is processed during the first shift of the the plant is simply a weak argument at best. Any plant processing Halal and pork at the same time would have to go through rigorous disinfection that would take days to avoid cross contamination. This is not realistic or economically cost effective.
